The concept of industrial growth and development has assumed immense importance newlinein the economic development of a developing nation like India as well as that of the newlinedeveloped nations. For the success of the economy of any country mainly depends on newlineits industrial growth and development the government at all levels helping to solve newlineproblems related with the same right from the dawn of freedom. newlineRealizing the importance of this vital factor, the government of India has formulated newlineindustrial policies in favour of the balanced regional development. Thane district and newlineparticularly the Dombivli area have significant contribution to industrial growth and newlinedevelopment. Yet the units in this area are facing a good number of problems related newlinewith infrastructure, operation, marketing, finance and human resources. newlineThe New Economic Policy adopted by India since 1991 with the guiding principles of newlineGlobalization, Privatization and Liberalization has also been catalyst in industrial newlinegrowth and development.
