Cloud computing is a resource delivery and usage model to get resources like hardware, software, applications and etc. as a service, through network on-demand and at-scale in a multi-tenant environment. Each application in cloud is designed as a business process with a set of abstract services where these services summarise functions of an application component by using its interface. Resource scheduling is utilized for distributing resources amongst parties that concurrently as well as asynchronously demand it. Scheduling protocols decrease resource starvation, and guarantee fairness amongst parties utilizing resources. Scheduling focuses on increasing the usage of resources with no impact on the services provided by clouds. The resource allocation problem is NP-hard so effectively scheduling of dependent and independent tasks on distributed sources is more complex. The distributed resources could be virtualized clusters of servers in a cloud platform makes the issue a challenging with guaranteed optimal solution. If cloud environment is un-trusted, then scheduling is uncertain. Developing a model to measure trust will reduce uncertainty among computing nodes of cloud environments. newline
