The Latest Pleistocene epoch of the Quaternary period coveringapproximately the past 30,000 years of the Earth s history (since thebeginning of the Marine Isotope Stage 2) is considered a very interesting timeperiod as it contains contrasting events of extreme states of climate. Thedramatic transgressive shift of climate began when the earth entered coolingtrend during LGM, followed by a warming Holocene trend driven by newlineincreasing incoming solar radiation owing to the climate forcing and the LittleIce Age (LIA), a short period of cooling. The natural dynamic climaticvariations since the Latest Pleistocene of varying amplitude in solar outputhas ensued many climatic events and intervals coupled with hydrologicalchanges that has forced the recorded pattern of monsoonal tendency, monsoonal intensity, vegetation regime and change-induced species shifts. The temporal climate disruptions exert its dominant control on the spatialvegetation and vice versa, in response to the strong bio-climate correlation. newline newline
