Abstract: ABSTRACT newlineOrganisational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) denotes voluntary commitment of a person in newlinean organisation or company apart from his or her contractual work, when psychology is newlineconsidered for study. For the last three decades the desire to study OCB has increased. The newlinepotency towards overall organisation are inter related. In this point of view, it has been newlinenoticed that employee s behaviour is influenced in the work area. Salary will be given on the newlinebasis of their performance. No one can quench the expectations of salary. So salary problem newlinecannot be controlled. Organisation s management should focus on culture and career growth. newlineEmployee friendly environment should be followed. They should be treated well in front of newlineothers like gender equality. newlineSome organisations do not give equal importance to feminine gender. It exists in many newlinecompanies. The famous Company situated in Silicon Valley faced this problem recently. newlineIf their rights are restricted, they will feel unsafe and they quit the job. Perhaps they may newlinespread the information to create bad name. Third one is career growth. It denotes the advancement newlinein the job. Workers are encouraged by giving promotion. Promotion stimulates newlinethe employees to perform their job effectively. Rewards consists promotion. OCB is also newlineconnected to organisational commitment. Organisational commitment refers feeling the connection newlinewith the company. Employees will feel that they are connected with the company newlinemorally. They will feel that they are part of the enterprise. So, it is a kind of behaviour which newlineshows the employees interest towards the organisational development. Besides, Emotional newlineIntelligence also plays a vital role in developing organisational citizenship behaviour. Many newlinepeople working in the organisation will have to get rid of their emotions. Probably, people newlinelose their status in emotional conditions.
