A study of investment pattern through portfolio management approach

Abstract

The researcher has analyzed the primary data collected for the present study. Various tools are used, such as frequency and percentage analysis, cross tabulation, chi-square test, factor analysis, and regression test, non-parametric test done for answering of conclusions. With the help of factor analysis data analysis is done, identifying the mean score of the factor helping to make proper decision for making investment. Investment objectives of the investor are analyzed in association with socioeconomic factors and priority for saving and investment. Demographic factor and reasons for change in the portfolio, investor s preferences for source of information before investing money checked.
