Abstract: | Wireless communication plays a major role in worldwide societal communication. Over past decades the fast growth of innovative wireless devices for various applications, demands the wireless radio spectrum usage. So fixed spectrum assignment policy becomes a restriction, where a portion of the spectrum is under-utilized by the licensed user. The spectrum regulatory bodies look for a novel technology, which utilizes the wireless spectrum in a smart and flexible way of communication. The idea of cognitive radio is anticipated to deal with the spectrum efficiency problems, since it endows the wireless users capable enough to adjust its working constraint in concurrence with the neighboring radio environment. This has been a major growth in the past few years, this research work reviews the essentials of cognitive radio technology, and architecture of a cognitive radio network and newlinesp ectrum sensing. The important issues in dynamic spectrum allocation algorithms for the performance improvement are investigated. The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) techniques are implemented in many consequent wireless communication networks. With OFDM sensing and its high capabilities for spectrum shaping makes it well suited for Cognitive Radio AdHoc networks. Thus, a strong spectrum sensing algorithm for OFDM modulated signals is extremely makes to implementation in CR. In order to conquer the difficulty faced by the usual newlineSpectrum Aggregated Cognitive Radio AdHoc Network method, Energy based Spectrum sensing in frequency domain is used to detect the unexploited sub-bands in the cooperative and Non cooperative radio environment are investigated. As a part of spectrum allocation, this Proposed Stakelberge Gaming theory is implemented to achieve high spectrum efficiency, energy efficiency, higher throughput and reduced delay. newline |
