Abstract: | The greatest challenging issue in heterogeneous wireless network is the effective communication with seamless vertical handover when there is mobility of the terminal. The expectation of forthcoming wireless networks which are convergence with different network technologies based on single radio accessing method is addressed in this research work, thereby improving the quality of communication with minimal call drop and providing seamless communication between users with no time or location boundaries. Handover (HO) mainly considers the received signal strength and interference ratio with mobility management as the key parameter for the basement of vertical handover decision making algorithm. Mobile users expect an interoperability between different types of networks. (i.e., GSM, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, UMTS, LTE etc.). A system having an effective path recommended system with knowledge and prediction based VHO decision making algorithm in a single framework is proposed in this work. Extended Multiple Attribute Decision Making Algorithms (EMADM) is utilized for vertical handover. Handover is one of the important tasks in wireless communication which can provide a better solution for newlinemaking interoperability among heterogeneous wireless networks. Handover process mainly depends on different attributes of the network such as bandwidth, delay, Relative Signal Strength (RSS), time, user density, cost and energy. Handover process was obtained by investigating the network attributes and the value of attribute creates handover with one network to another. newline newline |
