Abstract: | The research reported in this thesis investigates with the studies on robust stabilization of various types of uncertain dynamical systems. In particular, several sufficient conditions are obtained for achieving robust stabilization of the considered dynamical systems. The main objective in this thesis is to design appropriate controllers such that the considered dynamical systems are robustly asymptotically stable and finite-time stable. Particularly, the problem of dissipative fault-tolerant control for discrete-time systems with time-delay has been studied. Also, the problem of dissipativity based repetitive control for a class of switched stochastic time-delayed systems has been investigated. Further, a new non-fragile extended dissipative control problem for Markovian jump systems with partially known transition probabilities subject to actuator saturation, randomly occurring uncertainties and randomly occurring gain variations has been analyzed. Next, finite-time stochastic fault-tolerant controller is designed for switched stochastic systems and delayed neutral systems in the presence of stochastic actuator failures and external disturbances. Finally, a novel fault-tolerant control problem for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with time-varying delay and external disturbances is studied in a finite-time interval. Specifically, a set of sufficient conditions is derived in terms of LMIs for obtaining the required results. At last, numerical examples with simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and potential of the proposed results. newline |
