Abstract: Non Performing Asset (NPA) of the banks in India has become concern before India; there is much impact on the profitability of the banking industries which affects the performance of bank. The recovery mechanisms affected by natural and manmade reasons. The economies of the most of the developing countries is characterized by it s largely dependence on banking. Hence, to bring about an improvement in the economic development in these countries banking sectors should perform properly. newlineThe present study has attempted to analysis the Financial Study of Bombay Mercantile Co-operative Bank with reference to loans and advances of Marathwada region. The special objective of the study was to analyze various problems of the study unit and also offer proper solution for improving the financial performance of the BMC Bank The study has analyzed the Financial study of Bombay Mercantile Co-operative Bank with Reference to Loans and Advances of Marathwada Region with regards to increase deposits and mobilization of the available fund, proper recovery of loans and advances, improving the position of Non Performing Asset (NPA), assessing the performance of the BMC bank towards the loans granted to poor peoples of the society for the upliftment of their life, through creation of employments. Views of the respondents customers and bank officers regarding financial performance of the banks. The data for the present study was collected from both primary and secondary sources. The financial performance of the BMC banks has been improving towards the recovery of loans and advances, the position of Non Performing Asset (NPA) is improving over the period of study, bank provide loans facility for the development of the poor peoples of the society. The performance of the banks was satisfactory. newlineThe researcher has presented the study with a hope to helpful to customers as well as banks and others those who are associated with the BMC banks.
