dc.description.abstract | In this world of highly advanced communication network technologies, MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) is one of the important types of Ad hoc Network, where, each node on the MANET acts like a node and router also that is forwarded the packet to the next neighbor node. A great challenge to the design of routing protocols is encountered as there are many more criteria are involved in designing the routing protocols. More multipath routing protocol discover two routing paths to destination node, uses first path for data transmission, if first path fails then choose second path for data transmission. In this research work, these problems are circumvented by using three improved path selecting approaches in RAODV protocol. First approach newlineis Randomized- Reverse AODV(R-RAODV) protocol which is the enhancement of RAODV protocol. It is the reactive type of protocol, source node wants to send data packet to destination node then only establish the routing path to destination node and also start for data packet transmission. RREQ packet and R-RREQ packets are used to discover the routing path to destination node in conjunction with back tracking to source node. Source node uses RREQ packet and destination node uses R-RREQ packet for route discovery. Source node collects multiple node disjoint path information onto the routing table and selects the path randomly. The second appro ach is the enhancement of Randomized RAODV protocol, wherein, source node collects the R-RREQ packets from the destination node based on the time expired value. newline | |
