Biodiesel is renewable, biodegradable, and non toxic, but similar to newlinediesel. The blend of Biodiesel with fossil diesel has many benefits like reduction newlinein emissions, increase in efficiency of engine, higher Cetane rating, lower engine newlinewear, low fuel consumption, reduction in oil consumption etc. Also the engine newlineefficiency increases with bio-diesel. In this study the biodiesel derived from newlinedifferent vegetable oil esters like Jatropha, Karanja, Mahua and Neem oil were newlinecompared with diesel. The Performance, Emission and Combustion newlinecharacteristics of different vegetable oil esters in single cylinder compression newlineignition engine were compared with Diesel. The main aim of our study is the theoretical and experimental comparison of performance, emission and combustion characteristics of newlinebiodiesel using esters of Jatropha, Karanja, Mahua, and Neem with diesel. newlinePerformance properties - Break thermal Efficiency and Brake Specific Fuel newlineConsumption. Combustion characters Heat Transfer, Work done, Pressure, and newlineRate of pressure rise.Emission levels - Carbon monoxide, Hydrocarbon, Nitrous newlineoxide and Smoke. Theoretical performance, emission and combustion newlinecharacteristics were studied using the computer simulation Diesel engine-four newlineZone model. newline newline
