Three phase Induction Motors have wide applications in newlineElectrical Machines. With the rapid development of Power Electronic devices newlineand converter technologies, there were also advances in control methods and newlineArtificial Intelligence (AI) techniques. Artificial Intelligent techniques refer newlineto use of the expert system, fuzzy logic, neural network, and genetic newlinealgorithm. Nature always moves towards stability. The base of the stability is newlineequilibrium. The same natural phenomenon is applicable for man-made newlinemachines. The performance of induction motor drives can be enhanced by newlineadopting Artificial Intelligence based methods. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, such as Artificial newlineNeural Network (ANN), Expert System (ES), Fuzzy Logic (FL), Particle newlineSwarm Optimization (PSO), Genetic Algorithm (GA), and Artificial Neural newlineNetworks have recently been applied widely in control of induction motor newlinedrives. The controller design becomes very complicated and costly to newlineimplement. The fuzzy logic concepts coupled with Artificial Neural newlineNetworks play a very predominant position in constructing the controllers for newlinethe system. As a result, performance deteriorates and conventional controller newlineequivalent to PID controller (Proportional Integral and Derivative controller) newlineis unable to keep sufficient efficiency under these conditions newline newline
