This thesis investigates concerns on information and logistics management related by means of reverse logistics in the Indian Manufacturing, Home Appliances and Process Industries. The study analysed three perspectives of reverse logistics. These are: newline1. Factors that influence reverse logistics in Manufacturing, Home newlineAppliances and Process Industries. newline2. Identification of influencing factors for the choice of Reverse Logistics Service Providers. newline3. Development of a Model to achieve cost optimization. An excessive review of literature was carried out on concerns of reverse logistics management to gain insight into reverse logistics as a commercial procedure. Concerns, including Value Recovery Operations, Return Policy, Reverse Logistics Service, Product Return Operations, Techniques, and Information Technology Enabling Services were tackled to set up reverse logistics value in the Indian Manufacturing, Home Appliance and Process Industries. Rooted in the literature as well as the results of the newlineinitial investigation, six hypotheses were framed to examine their validity as reverse logistics concerns are established in Indian Manufacturing, Home Appliances and Process Industries. This study investigated Indian industries which includes manufacturing, process and home appliances organizations via questionnaire survey. The data collected from the survey was analyzed using regression analysis and Friedman Test to understand reverse logistics issues in Indian Manufacturing, Home Appliances and Process industries. Based on the literature and outcomes of the preliminary study, six hypotheses were formulated to test their validity while establishing reverse logistics issues in Indian Manufacturing, Home Appliances and Process industries. newline newline
