Abstract: The power system network is established to transmit power from newlinevarious generating units to the consumers through common transmission and newlinedistribution channel. The load is undeterministic which causes the frequency newlinedeviation in interconnected power system network. Due to large penetration newlineof renewable energy sources to the power grid, the challenges are double fold. newlineIn the developing countries, such as India where the urbanization is rapid newlinethere is huge gap in supply-demand chain. As the demand rises, maintaining newlinethe power supply quality is highly challenging. The catch on this aspect is that newlinethe fluctuation of the load demand varies with that of the voltage and newlinefrequency variations. For power system sustainability, reliability is must. newlineThe frequencies of generating units are different hence the newlinechallenges have to be addressed. The fluctuation in the power generated to newlinemeet the demand is becoming high and correspondingly the control is also newlinebecoming complex. A properly designed controller decreases the stress to the newlinepower system through the reduction of power loss during supply and load newlinevariations. Aneffective controller ensures the quality in the power system newlinenetwork within the designated area of study. Increasing the number of power newlinegenerating unit can address the supply demand problem but it increases the newlinecomplexity, more commonly a dynamic controller in a rapid changing newlineenvironment. The conventional controllers will help in Load Frequency newlineControl (LFC) to maintain supply frequency constant within the desired limits newlineduring increasing/decreasing real power demand. The moment a new type of newlinepower generating unit or load unit participate in the power system network, newlinethe tuning of the new controller with the conventional one is highly newlinechallenging. newline newline
