The primary motivation of this research work is to propose an newlineenergy efficient Integrated Multi-operator Multi-service Radio over Fiber newlinearchitecture for mobile fronthaul with reduced electromagnetic pollution newlineeffects. The solution approach should meet the present and future mobile user newlinerequirements. The goal of future access networks is the realization of an newlineinfrastructure to simultaneously support variety of services and a large newlinenumber of users per service. The broadband wireless access with fiberconnected newlineRemote Antenna Unit (RAU) capable of providing low transmit newlinepower from the mobile terminal by shortening the last mile communication newlinelink is a boon for the present day bandwidth needs. Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) newlinetechnique is one such an effective solution to provide transparent transmission newlineof the radio signals over optical fronthaul / backhaul networks newlineAnalog Radio-over-Fiber (ARoF) method enables multi-service newlinemulti-operator coexistence in a shared infrastructure with simplified RAUs newlinewhereas the conventional digital-baseband-transmission approach typically newlinesupports only one service at a time. In addition, it is beneficial to integrate newlinewith optical Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) techniques to provide newlinemore versatility and flexibility to the fronthaul/backhaul networks. Therefore, newlinethe system provides multiple system operational advantages: Firstly, multiple newlineoperators can co-exist in a shared small-cell infrastructure by using different newlineWDM wavelengths; Secondly, within each operator, different wireless newlineservices can co-propagate in the RoF fronthaul/backhaul in a simplified way; newlineThirdly, for each wireless service, multiple MIMO data streams and multiple newlinesub-bands can also coexist in the RoF link without incurring undesirable newlineinterference;. newline newline
