Abstract: | newlineWith today s technological development, entertainment has become revolutionized and the High Definition (HD) video has become a common feature of our modern enjoyment devices. Moreover, the demand for wireless transmission of HD video is rising increasingly for its ubiquitous nature, easy installation and relocation. The high bandwidth requirement is the main concern for wireless transmission of high quality video streams. A transmission of HD video through the wireless networks requires in several applications, which includes high bandwidth, efficient compression techniques along with a proper rate controller. The Ultra Wide Band (UWB) is a Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN), through which HD video can be transmitted, although the poor video quality was received. Due to the Mean Square Error (MSE), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER). Video compression is a process, in which redundant data from the sequence is removed to meet a bit rate requirement, while the quality of the reconstructed video satisfies the requirement of the application. Removing redundant data from the video sequence reduces the reconstructed video quality. Compression schemes therefore involves trade offs between the compression capability and the amount of introduced distortion. Hence, optimum compression of the video prior to transmission is very important in wireless video communication. newline newline |
