The modern consumer requires compact and smaller products with newlineincreased utilities. To fulfill these needs, the micro manufacturing domain is newlinetaking giant strides today. All the non-conventional machining processes newlinehave attracted the attention of researchers for exploiting their micro newlinemanufacturing capabilities as miniaturization has become essential in all newlineIndustries.Electrochemical machining is a leading non-conventional newlinetechnology as it possesses many inherent advantages that are considered newlinefavourable for micromachining operations. Any electrically conductive newlinematerial, irrespective of its hardness, thermal and chemical nature can be newlinemachined under electrochemical machining process. However, researchers newlineare facing many challenges in the application of electrochemical machining in newlinethe micromachining domain as the process is very sensitive even for very newlinesmall changes in process parameters and achieving accuracy becomes a newlinedifficult task. Research works are continuing world-wide for improving the newlineperformance of the ECM in the micro range for wider applications in various newlineindustries. The electrochemical machining in the micro domain is called newlineelectrochemical micromachining or micro electrochem newline newline-
