Energy Conservation in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is prime newlineconcern in most of its applications. This become important as increase in the newlinenetwork lifetime depends mainly on minimizing the energy consumption in newlinesensor nodes. Thus conserving and balancing the energy consumption is of newlineutmost importance. WSNs have much attention in a large range of technical newlinefields such as industrial, military, environmental monitoring etc. Sensors are newlinepowered by batteries. Changing batteries can be a tedious task especially if newlinethe nodes are deployed in remote and/or hostile environments. A reduced cost newlineand easier installation and deployment of the wireless components are the newlinemain reasons for considering a wireless solution in industrial applications. newlineThis has resulted in an increased popularity among industry and especially newlinecompanies interested in the area of industrial process automation. The process newlineautomation industry is adopting wireless technologies, but in such harsh newlineenvironments technologies like Bluetooth and ZigBee are not reliable enough. newlineFor industrial revolutionary monitoring, WirelessHART (Wireless Highway newlineAddressable Remote Transducer) is the next big technology advancements newlineover ZigBee and Bluetooth specifications. Reliability can achieve in terms of newlineterms of security, network lifetime and throughput. newline newline
