dc.description.abstractConcrete is the most versatile material that is being used for constructing structures over the centuries. A lot of upgradation and research work is being carried out yet with concrete and its constituents in the aspects of ease of workability, good strength, high performance, self-healing, increase in tensile strength using different admixtures and bio materials along with the reduction and reuse of waste materials. All we know that, concrete is good in compression and numerous research works are under progress to increase the characteristic compressive strength of the concrete and its behavior under various circumstances. In general, silica materials are used as additives in cement to make good strength or high performance concrete. The silica materials activate the C-S-H gel formation, as it adds strength and good bond between the concrete constituents. This way of making high performance concrete is economically quite high. This research work focuses to make high performance concrete with easily available mineral admixture of fly ash. Fly ash is the byproduct material which is obtained from thermal and power plant industries. newline
