Abstract: The present thesis discusses the theoretical solutions of the free convective viscous incompressible flow past an accelerated infinite vertical plate with simultaneous effect of Hall current and Magnetohydrodynamic field in the presence of rotating fluid with chemical reaction of first order under different physical conditions. Initially, the plate and the fluid are of the same temperature and the concentration. As time increases, the plate is given an impulsive motion in a vertical direction against gravitational field with linear time velocity in a fluid. The temperature of the plate and the concentration of the diffusing species near the plate are raised, resulting in the natural convection due to both differences in temperature and concentration. The theoretical solution of the chemical reaction first order and Hall effects on MHD flow past an accelerated infinite vertical plate in the presence of rotating fluid with variable or uniform mass diffusion has been studied. The governing equations of free convection are simplified by invoking the boundary layer at Boussinesq s approximations. The governing equations are transformed into dimensionless form by using non-dimensional quantities. The dimensionless governing equations are laminar, two dimensional, coupled and non-linear partial differential equations. These equations are solved by using the Laplace transform technique. The solutions are in terms of exponential and complementary error functions. An exact solution is obtained for the axial and transverse components of the velocity and skin-friction by defining a complex error function newline
