dc.description.abstractPer capita energy consumption of every individual and the population of the world are increasing day by day Most of the power demand is met by the conventional energy sources but the conventional energy newlinesources such as coal oil and gas are demising day by day The conventional newlineenergy resources also produce green house gases and air pollution Switching newlinefrom conventional energy sources to renewable energy sources will avoid newlinethese problems The renewable energy resources such as solar wind and fuel newlinecell are most important. All the solar wind and fuel cell energy conversion newlinesystem require advanced power electronics converters for stable power newlinegeneration Due to the energy crisis and air pollution the renewable energy newlinebecomes an inevitable option to generate energy The fuel cell and solar cell newlinegenerate energy in low voltage level This voltage need to be increased higher newlinevalue to supply to the load. In this situation the boost converter is necessary newlineto boost up the low voltage The high dc voltage is then supply to the load newlinethrough the inverter Normal converters such as boost converter and flyback newlineconverter step up of dc voltage to required level but high boost up of voltage newlineis possible with high efficiency due to high duty cycle which leads to high newlineconduction losses and reverse recovery problem newline newline-
