dc.description.abstractThe main objective of the present study is to improve the properties newlineof polyimide cyanate ester bismaleimide and benzoxazine based organic newlinepolymers by hybridization with nano sized inorganic fillers such as newlinepolyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes POSS nanosized silica and newlinemesoporous silica SBA 15 to obtain nanocomposites meeting the newlinerequirements of high performance applications The organic inorganic hybrid newlinenanocomposites were prepared by using z newline OAPS and octakis dimethylsiloxypropylglycidylether silsesquioxane newline OG POSS as nanocrosslinkers and the nanosized silica particles obtained newlinefrom tetraethoxysilane through sol gel technique and mesoporous silica newline SBA 15 as the inorganic phase and polyimide cyanate ester bismaleimide newlineand benzoxazine as the organic phase The chemical intermediates such as newlinebisphenol derivative cyanate ester derivatives bismaleimide derivatives newlinebenzoxazine monomer and diamine derivatives were synthesized and newlinecharacterized POSS derivatives and functionalized SBA 15 were prepared newlinecharacterized and utilized for the present work newline newlineen_US
