dc.description.abstract | Fixed Broadband Wireless Access is a promising technology which can offer data video and high speed voice service up to the customer end The Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access technology is becoming popular and receiving widespread acceptance as a Broadband Wireless Access system WiMAX has potential success in its line of sight and non line of sight conditions which can operate below 11 GHz frequency There is going to be a surge all over the world for the deployment of WiMAX networks The objective of the research is to analyze the physical layer performance of Fixed WiMAX newlinecommunication system using SUI fading channels In this thesis the performance measures are taken for the Bit Error Rate versus the ratio of bit energy to noise power spectral density Eb No The investigation involves several modulation techniques for fixed newlineWiMAX communication system based on OFDM including QPSK 16QAM and 64QAM with different cyclic prefix and Forward Error Correction which are tested for SUI channels conditions with different channel bandwidth 25MHz and 1 75 MHz The main concentration in this thesis is to find out a suitable modulation technique for different environments and to find the effective bandwidth of the transmitted signal newline | en_US |
