Computer technology has become so newlineessential that the colleges and universities have ICT as one of the curricula in Indian newlineeducation. The utilization of ICT in education has recently emerged to appeal the newlinepotential and significant progress in language learning. It has become an newlineindispensable issue in the world of education and has been used from preschool to newlineuniversity that could facilitate students and teachers in teaching and learning process. newlineICT has been known for potentiality which enables tools to be powerful for newlineeducational change and reform. The computers play significant role in the learning newlineprocess especially in learning a language. The technology in this era has been grown newlineup not only from the quality but also the efficiency. The need of technological newlineinnovation has brought the communication revolution and rapid development of newlinetechnological application in teaching and learning. Most of the schools in India newlineparticularly in Tamilnadu have started using the ICT to facilitate the teacher to teach newlinethe students effectively in the classroom. Many kinds of application they use in the newlineclassroom improve and enhance the teaching method. The experts and practitioners newlineof Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), the latest method strongly newlinesupports the utilization of ICT in language learning to improve efficiency and newlineeffectiveness of learning that can improve the quality of understanding and mastery newlineof the language studied. The integration of ICT in the field of language learning is so newlineinevitable that the ICT and language learning are two aspects complementing each newlineother. Thus, the ICT enabled classroom is able to generate interaction and improve newlinecommunicative competence by focusing on the utilization of computers to enhance newlinelanguage learning
