Abstract: | newlineABSTRACT newline newlineThe echo-friendly awareness of the world towards twenty-first century leads newlineto Green IT. Some of the major concerns today over IT are increasing energy newlinecharges, so-called older electronic equipments dumped in storage space and landfills, newlineglobal warming, etc. So, to make the environment more eco-friendly, this research newlineproject aims to reduce E-waste accumulated by computers. At present, medium newlinetechnologically developed processors are thrown out before their life-time expiry newlinedate, to replace with modern ended processors. This contributes for E-waste newlineaccumulation and its one of the world s most dangerous situations to come. This newlineresearch work is about a novel architecture that supports accommodating (emulation) newlineold-range and mid-range processors together with modern high-end processors in the newlinescenario of cloud computing. This scheme provides a platform to reuse all categories newlineof processors based on the applications requirement, till their expiry date, and thus newlinereduces the processor E-waste accumulation. newlineAs the first phase an Integrated Time and Tasks based Process Scheduler newline(ITTPS), is designed for cloud environment to integrate low range and mid range newlineprocessors with the high end processors. The ITTPS model consists of three modules newlinewhich includes cloud processors pool, users task, and cloud interface. The first newlinemodule categorizes the processors into logical groups based on the processors newlineconfiguration. The second module assign tasks id for the incoming tasks, generate newlinetasks list, and categorize the task based on the computational complexity of the task. newlineThe pool of processors are identified and classified as old range and mid newlinerange processors to bind with high end processors. Based on the users task schedule, newlinethe processors are assigned. Integrated Time and Task based Process schedule for newlinecloud computing in Green IT infrastructure framework is measured with metrics such newlineas execution time to perform the group task without any e-wastes, memory newlineconsumption rate and energy consumption.
