dc.description.abstract | A Context aware system aims to adapt its behavior to every changing environment Such context Context capturing involves extracting the relevant context data from adaptation needs proper capturing management and reasoning of a constantly changing selected entities in the environment Context management deals with the representation storage and processing of the context data Context reasoning is the process of drawing inferences or conclusions from known facts using information from the various sources of context Most of the current context aware systems lack a semantically rich context model the desired formality and expressiveness They do not separate the processing of context semantics from the processing and representation of context data and structure newlineThis research focuses on a semantically rich and collaborative context representation and management model that uses a hybrid of ontology and database management approaches An Ontology based Object Relational model is proposed to store the context Then the performance of the Ontology based Object Relational model is compared with that of the newlineOntology based Relational model and pure Object Relational Database Management System based on the query response time newline | en_US |
