In recent years owing to the great development of the wireless network scenario the popularity of mobile computing devices has increased significantly and the possibility of communication without an existing network infrastructure has become a reality A mobile ad hoc network is a group of mobile nodes communicating through wireless connection This kind of network is easy to implement in places where a network infrastructure is hard to build and maintain MANETs are flexible adaptive and require few resources but at the same time they are challenging in finding paths between their nodes In such networks the wireless mobile nodes may dynamically enter the network as well as leave the network Due to the limited transmission range of the wireless network nodes multiple hops are usually needed for a node to exchange information with any other node in the network Heavily loaded and lightly loaded nodes of the network degrade the network performance leading to other drawbacks such as congestion on the network traffic The imbalanced load on the path causes end to end delay packet dropping imbalanced energy consumption and inefficiencyen_US
