Abstract: newlineIn recent years a huge emphasis is been made on development of sensor which easily binds to newlinereceptor and sense even in very low concentration. To meet this requirement third generation newlinesupramolecule i.e. calix arene is most appropriate. Supramolecular sensor finds application in newlinevarious fields of chemistry, Pharmacy, environmental science and biological science. newlineSupramolecule based synthesized sensor acts as chemosensor, fluorosensor, nanoparticle newlinesensor, optical sensor, electrochemical sensor etc. Calix[4]pyrrole(i.e. pyrrole unit replaced to newlinephenolic unit of calix arene) easily binds to the guest molecule and acts well as host in newlinesynthesis of sensor due to amazing structure flexibility and modification at ring. newlineCalix[4]pyrrole finds a good application as fluoroionophore sensor. newlineRecently microwave synthesis process is widely used. It has certain advantages like higher newlineyield, less solvent use, cleaner process and foremost faster reaction compared to conventional newlinemethod. So we also have attempted to synthesis the calix[4]pyrrole based sensor using newlinemicrowave method along with conventional method. newlineThe aim of the thesis is to synthesize, characterize and analyze novel functionalized newlinecalix[4]pyrrole receptor as fluorosensor for different metal ion. newlineWork endeavor in thesis: newlineand#61656; Chapter 1 includes literature survey of calix[4]pyrrole its synthesis, modifications, newlinefunctionalization and applications as sensor. newlineand#61656; Chapter 2 focuses on development of Convenient, rapid, efficient method using newlinemicrowave as well as conventional method of meso tetra hydroxyl calix[4]pyrrole and its newlineazo derivatives as well as its characterization. newlineand#61656; Chapter 3 deals with the study of synthesized novel aminoquinoline based calix[4]pyrrole newlineas sensor for Cu(II) and Pb(II) ion. newlineand#61656; Chapter 4 involves application of substituted calix[4]pyrrole as punctilious recognition of newlineF- and Cu+2 ions. newlinexx newlineand#61656; Chapter 5 focuses on analysis of amioanthraquinone based calix[4]pyrrole as selective and newlinesensitive ion for Pb(II) ion. newlineand#61656; Chapter 6 involve
