Adventitious Sound Analysis

Abstract

Estimation of exact number of exudates for adventitious sound wave newlineconstitutes a testing issue in tissue. In this proposed thesis, Firstly, digital imageprocessing techniques are used for overall various serious exudates in alveoli of newlinelumen fluid. These exudates intern results adventitious sounds. The challenging task newlinehere is to analyze adventitious waves which are nonlinear and non-stationary sound newlinesignals. The proposition goes for examining the continuous and discontinuous newlineadventitious waves through EMD and EEMD techniques keeping in mind the end newlinegoal to explore the hidden instantaneous frequency components until to get residual. newlineThe problem addressed in this research exertion comprised of three sections. newlineThe initial section was estimating the exudates. Next, the decomposition of newlineadventitious sound wave signals after utilizing EMD procedure of the HHT as an newlineexamination tool on complex adventitious wave information. Finally, the decomposed newlineadventitious waves are further analyzed by Hilbert spectral analysis specifically, newlineamplitude and energy spectrogram for next level of examination after usage of the newlineEEMD technique to decide if the HHT gave improved examination of the newlinewheezing/crackle wave as compared and investigation gave already from the EMD newlinedecomposition.
