Abstract: Corporations now a days are exposed to stiff competition in terms of building process newlinecapability, innovation, creativity, product development in order to sustain in the market. Though newlineinformation technology (IT), IT enabled services, digitalization and automation of mechanical newlineprocesses have changed the face of modern organizations, it has led to strongly feel and understand newlinethat human resources are just indispensable keep the organizations ever learning and growing. It newlineis even more found as absolute necessity in information technology organizations where ideas newlineoriginated by their human resources lead to creative products and hence there are constant efforts newlineto provide ample liberty, autonomy and decision making powers through robust HR systems and newlinepractices. Across the world, the main goal of any IT corporations is to nurture the talent of their newlinehuman resources, make continuous innovations and turn out the best products out of their newlinecreativity. newlineIn the process of developing human resources, the corporates expect their human resources newlineto think, innovate and adapt to the continuously changing demands of the customers. That is newlinecompanies expect their human resources to act as entrepreneurs within the organization and take newlineon the challenges of competition and innovation as if they are running their own organization and newlinehence the concept of corporate entrepreneurship / intrapreneurship. The present research work newlineaims at validating and quantifying the effect of existing human resources management practices in newlineextracting and transcending the effect of intrapreneursship in six selected multinational IT newlinecorporations situated in the state of Karanataka, India. newlineThe whole research work is based on the data collected from 250 IT personnel selected newlinefrom six IT organizations in Karnataka TCS (40), Wipro (48), Infosys (45), Google (41), Tech newlineMahindra (33), Oracle Corporation (38)] through pre tested questionnaire validated for newlinereliability(Cronbach s and#945;=0.804). newlineOut of 250 respondents 69.2% male and 30.8% of female respectively participated in the newlinesurvey with the following demographic identity in their respective organizations under study. newlineMajority of the respondents i.e., 72.4% is BE/B. Tech background followed by 18% of MCA newlinegraduates. ME/M. Tech people were about 4%, 2% Mac, and 3.6% others (cross sectional newlinegraduates from humanities, commerce, business management and basic science. newline
