Abstract: Recent advances in wireless technology have led to the evolution of newlinemobile wireless sensor network MWSN which uses low cost and low power newlinemultifunctional sensor nodes equipped with mobilizers such as springs newlinewheels animals air and so on to achieve better targeting and data fidelity But newlineas the mobile sensor nodes are low powered devices energy efficiency newlinebecomes one of the most crucial issues to be taken care of while designing the newlinenetwork along with the challenges imposed by the mobility of nodes such as newlinedynamic topology dynamic clustering unknown positioning of nodes etc newlineTherefore designing energy efficient clustering and routing protocol becomes newlinevery significant Energy optimization can be obtained by minimizing the newlineactive communication power required to transmit and receive the data packets newlineor by reducing the power consumed during inactive period that is nodes idle newlinelistening to the wireless medium for any possible communication request newlinefrom other nodes newlineIt has been observed that energy efficient clustering models with newlineoptimum parameters help in minimizing the energy consumption due to active newlinecommunication The routing protocols can reduce the transreceiving energy newlineof a node by avoiding routing of packets through critical nodes having low newlineresidual energy and high mobility and by minimizing flooding of routing newlineinformation over the entire network This work proposes three novel methods newlineto achieve energy resourceful routing in a mobile sensor network These newlinemethods try to maximize the lifetime of MWSN by using proficient medium newlineaccess control model with efficient clustering and optimal routing The newlineOMNeT 4 simulator is used to study the performance of these methods newlineThe first method ECRP emphasizes on the design of an energy newlineefficient clustering technique that uses Bayes rule to find the probability of a newlinenode becoming a precinct head based on its residual power and mobility It newlineuses a hybrid routing protocol that selects the best intra precinct path to the newlineprecinct head based on the latest data generation time newline
