Abstract: | This study explores the influence of personal characteristics (proactive personality) and contextual characteristics (organisation learning culture, perceived job complexity and leader member exchange) on employee creativity. The sample data was collected from 9 companies in Delhi and NCR. Out of 300 questionnaires sent, 200 were returned in operational form. newlineOf five main research hypotheses, four hypotheses were supported. Out of these four variables, it was found that Proactive Personality is the most significant predictor of Employee Creativity. 74.4% of variance in employee creativity was explained by Proactive Personality. Also, no significant difference was found in Employee Creativity, Organisation Learning Culture, LMX Quality, Proactive Personality and Perceived Job Complexity at middle and upper levels of management. newline |
