Aggrandize Text Security Through Steganography

Abstract

In the era of information technology, the massive amount of information is transferred newlineover public channels; some sensitive data and information pass through un-trusted newlinecommunication channels. Means Information travels via computer networks worldwide. newlineSo, the main issue is delivery of the original message. Attackers and hackers attempt to newlinebreak security over the sensitive data, thus exposing the actual information. And we do newlinenot want that our original message to be intercepted by anyone else excluding the newlinerecipient so to make our message safe many methods are used or we can sat, various newlinesecurity mechanisms have been applied to improve data integrity and privacy, newlineSteganography is one of them. Steganography can be said as layer on information to be newlinesent. The goal of the cover layer is prevention from suspect. In most of the security newlinemechanism safety of information is done to make it unreadable but on the other side newlinesteganography shields the presence of clandestine data under some layer. newlineSteganography is a method of hiding data and shield it from eager eyes. Steganography newlinebasically hides data under a layer or shelter, this shelter can be rich text, digital photos, newlineaudio, video clips etc. The two parties basically rely in the modification in mediums newlinestructure and characteristics of the target medium in a way that is not catchable by any newlineone. When text is used as a carrier file, it is so complicated due to the fact that newlineredundancy is less in a text document as compare to other formats of cover file or we can newlinesay redundancy are maximum in audio, video and other files. newlineOur research is to examine various methods of steganography and is to give two newlinealgorithms in which text is used as a carrier. There is a problem in mostly previous newlinereviewed text methods that is formatting or retyping losses the data of interest. We have newlineproposed two methods called as capital alphabet shape encoding method and Indian script newlineencoding technique respectively.
