Abstract: In the present thesis entitled EFFECTIVE GREEN INHIBITORS FOR MILD STEEL CORROSION IN VARIOUS ACIDS investigations on corrosion of mild steel in sulphuric acid and hydrochloric acid have been presented, along with effect of concentration of acid, effect of temperature, inhibition of corrosion on mild steel in acidic environment in presence of various green inhibitors like Calotropis procera (giant milkweed-Aankado), Caesalpinia crista (Fevernut-Kachako), Achras zapota (Chikoo), Mangifera indica (Mango) have been studied, and results are presented. The effect of inhibitor concentration at different temperature and at different concentrations of acids have been explained. Conclusion as well as summary is provided. References are given at the end of the thesis. newline
