Abstract: newline This Thesis is the outcome of the unexpected success of the BharatiyaJanta Party in Haryana assembly election of 2014. The results of the assembly election in the State were surprising for everyone; the winner, the loser, the political experts and the other analysts, almost for everybody. BharatiyaJanta Party got majority for the first time by winning 47 seats in the 90 members Assembly. BharatiyaJanta Party reached the historical high, which most of its leaders, both in the State and Centre, were not expecting, except a few. Then, what happened and how did it happened are the main questions. This Thesis is an effort to answer these questions
