Abstract: | English has become a necessary tool and a powerful mode of communication. newlineGraduate learners can understand English to some extent. They struggle to frame a few newlinesentences in a coherent manner. Most of the students find it difficult to speak in English newlinebecause of shyness, nervousness and fear psychosis. Technology-Integrated Teaching newlinelearning method is useful to teach English Communication Skills. Feeling the enhancement newlinein Communication Skills is the need of the hour, the researcher has chosen the topic for the newlinestudy as CURRENT ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES TO TEACH ENGLISH newlineCOMMUNICATION SKILLS: AN EXPLORATORY STUDY. newlineThe materials taken for the study are from Effective Communication Skill Based newlineElective Paper for the II BA/ II B.Sc. Degree, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. The newlinesyllabus has been focused on LSRW Skills. After thoroughly going through the topic, the newlineresearcher has prepared the required materials for the experimental study. The focus on this newlinesyllabus has enabled the researcher to frame objectives and hypothesis. The researcher has newlineused the Experimental Method with a sample of 92 students. newline The related materials are downloaded and taught with the help of following listed newlinetechnologies in the classroom. It is of two types: Learning Technologies and Learning newlineTechnologies from Social Media. The researcher has developed a Techno-Integrated Package newlinefor the enhancement of the Communication Skills. After the application of the Technology newlineIntegrated Approach, Statistical analysis was done. newline The result statistically proves that there is enhancement in the Communication Skills newlineof the sample. This proves the positive influence of Techno-Integrated Approach. newline |
