A Multi-theoretical Discourse on the Select Fictions of Lee Maracle and newlineAlexis Wright is a comprehensive study of the chosen novels of Wright and newlineMaracle with respect to the Native/Aboriginal theoretical views of Ecocriticism, newlineFeminism and Postcolonialism. Both Wright and Maracle are living authors, born newlinein 1950 with similar experiences and struggles in life. They have made their mark newlineas indigenous authors, teachers, researchers and activists. Wright s Plains of newlinePromise and Carpentaria and Maracle s Sundogs and Ravensong have been newlinechosen for this study. newlineThe thesis is a complete in-depth study of all the four selected novels newlinefrom a multi-theoretical perspective, adherent to Native/Aboriginal viewpoints. newlineThe study is a discourse that aims at achieving spoken interaction in written texts. newlineThe thesis is divided into five chapters.
