Effect of integrated use of inorganic fertilizers and organic manures on yield uptake and nutrient use efficiency of wheat

Abstract

The present study entitled quotEffect of integrated use of newlineinorganic fertilizers and organic manures on yield, uptake and newlinenutrient use efficiency of wheatquot was carried out in 2005 -06 and newline2006 - 07. In addition a field experiment was also laid out to newlinestudy the effect of FYM and copper on wheat at Raja Balwant newlineSingh Research farm Bichpuri, Agra. The highlights of the newlineinvestigation can be summarized as under. newline1. Integrated use of inorganics and organics on wheat newlineGrowth Characters newlineThe number of tillers in wheat crop increased markedly up newlineto 60 DAS and attained the maximum number at this stage. newlineThereafter, the number of tillers declined gradually till the newlineharvest. The various treatments had a favourable influence on the newlinenumber of tillers at each growth stage. Application of NPK levels newlineshowed a positive effect on the number of tillers at all the stages newlineof growth. Application of FYM and GLM along with inorganic newlinefertilizers also increased the number of tillers were at each newlinegrowth stage over control. The differences in number of tillers newlinemore over T1 treatment when 100 % NPK was coupled with newlineZnSO4(T5)and S (T6). newline newline
