Abstract: The agriculture sector is playing an important role in the process of economic newlinedevelopment of a country like India. It has already made a notable contribution to the newlineeconomic development of the advanced countries. It plays a vital role in the developing newlinecountries like in India. In other words, where per capita income is low, the emphasis is newlinebeing laid on agriculture and other primary industries. The agriculture history of England newlineexposes that agriculture revolution preceded the industrial revolution. In U.S.A. and newlineJapan, agriculture development has helped to a greater extent in the process of their newlineindustrialization.
