Bridges are the most important parts of the transportation infrastructure in our day to day life The construction of the bridge structural components is very much interesting and it is costlier in comparison with the construction of other structural components The present and future of structural components depends on composites Composites exhibit the best qualities of the constituents The composite materials have more useful applications than the constituent materials of the composites The majority of composites presently used are polymeric matrix composites This thesis focuses on Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer GFRP bridge deck panels which is challenging and having most additional features than the existing bridge structural components Methods like micromechanics and carpet plots are used for calculation of composite material propertiesen_US
