Discussion: Growth and development in Gujarat is very much similar to India. Post liberalization there was massive growth in the number of management institutes but this growth was not for a longer period of time. Soon with the increase in number of institutes problem linked to them also raised. The research points out that most of the management institutes in Gujarat focus on class room teaching with little or sparse corporate interaction. Majority of management students of Gujarat face difficulty in effective communication skill both written and verbal. Many such issues linked to growth and development of management institutes of Gujarat has been discussed. newlineConclusion: More number of institutes, inexperienced faculty members, and unmatched demand from corporate led to decline in the overall management education. So basically it is a vicious circle and management institutes alone cannot bridge this gap. In order to overcome these challenges the study suggests that management education can be developed only if all the stakeholders are involved (Kumar, M. and Jha, S., 2011; Priyadarshini, 2013; Steiner, 2013). Major stakeholders of management institutes are students, corporate and academicians, if they participate in the development of management education then certainly management institute can become center for excellence. newline
