Abstract: | Chemistry, being the science of molecules, is seen everywhere in the universe. Among newlineall the streams of chemistry, organic chemistry acquires a distinctive significance due to newlineits association with nature and life. Study of organic molecules gives us an idea of the newlineorigin and functioning of life, on the basis of which we design and develop new organic newlinemolecules of biological and pharmacological importance. Besides the synthesis of such newlinemolecules, the development of new approaches for the synthesis of these molecules in a newlinecost-effective and less toxic way is also equally important. Among various known newlinetechniques of organic synthesis, benzotriazole methodology is considered to be one of newlinethe most effective approach for facile synthesis of valuable compounds. newline |
