This research focuses on routing of data packets in wireless network where meticulous attention has been provided to ad hoc as well as newlineinfrastructure based networks with wireless LAN Three folds of routing newlineprotocols have been designed with geographical routing scenario namely newlineEnergy Efficient Geographic DSR Dynamic Source Routing Over AODV newline Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector EEGDOA Proficient Geographic newlineRouting with Angular coordinates PGRA and Proficient Geographic newlineRouting with Angular coordinates using Vectors PGRAV newlineThe protocol EEGDOA provides energy efficiency where in the newlinetopology is divided into zone structure The significance of this location based newlineprotocol is that the overhead which occupies a specified bandwidth has been newlinereduced using proper zone structures The protocol incorporates additive newlineposition updates depending on two rules Mobility Prediction MP rule that newlineprovides location coordinates and On demand Learning ODL rule that newlineprovides beacon packet forwarding time The protocol has been compared newlinewith the conventional protocols and superior performance has been obtained newlineby combining geographic routing with zone structure However in the case of newlineEEGDOA the zone structure obtaining the coordinates would presume to use newlinethe equipments such as Global Positioning System GPS which would lead to newlineexcessive energy inception newlineIn order to reduce the inception of energy consumption without the newlineaid of GPS here PGRA and PGRA V are designed with angular co ordinates. newlineThe protocol PGRA obtains the position of forwarding node using newlinetrigonometrically calculation newline newline
