Abstract: Degradation in environmental quality is one of the major concerns about sustainable newlinedevelopment over worldwide. The environment which sustains the human life is also a newlineprofound source of ill health for many of nation s people particularly the poor developing newlinecountries like India. India has been ranked as seventh most environmentally hazardous newlinecountry in the world (Iyer, 2011). Developmental activities have significant impact on newlineenvironment (IWRD, 1999). As a part of recent debate on development, water quality and newlinehuman health has got high recognition which also attracted a lot of research and discussion. newlineIt is because a deteriorated water quality leaves for reaching consequence as human health newlinealso threaten the economic resource base that undoubtedly deteriorate human wellbeing. The newlineconsequences further accumulate in the long run and involve irreversible damage and large newlinecost (IWRD, 1999).
