Abstract: Media Projections are widely appearing in the contemporary Theatre newlineProductions around the world, including Indian Theatre Play Productions. newlineThe integration of media projections by the Indian theatre practitioners productions newlineare lacking behind the significance in its application. The researcher identified newlinethe insufficiency of the Indian theatre design practices in media projection aspect. newlineThis study attempted to fulfil the needs of media projection design practices in Indian newlinetheatre play productions by constructing a model based on the histories, pioneered newlineproductions, along with the practices of researcher. newlineThe study aimed to construct a model for media projection design in Indian newlinecontext, with the reference of contemporary theories, tools and techniques. newlineThe pioneered practices in integration of media projections assisted the researcher to newlineconstruct an identical design practice in the domain. Sequences of experimentations newlinewith various tools and techniques enriched the researcher to device a signified design newlinefor the specific projects. newlineThe study followed the participatory action research methodology to fulfil newlinethe objectives of the study. According to the methodology applied in this study, newlinethe researcher participated with the anticipated design model to solve the specific newlinedesign difficulties of the production. The ephemeral performance of the production newlineposes new challenges to the researcher to resolve. The learning through practicing newlinemodel of action research unearthed new implements for the media projection design newlinepractices in contemporary Indian multimedia theatre through this study. newline
