dc.description.abstractWe are demonstrating the synthesis of mixed transitional metal oxide ZnMn 2 O 4 nano newlinepowder carried out by Sol-gel thermolysis process. The mixture of metal nitrates, PVA newlineand urea have been used for ZnMn 2 O 4 synthesis process. The obtained powder was newlinecharacterized by XRD, PSA, and FE-SEM. The X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that newlinethe ZnMn 2 O 4 nano powder has pure phase and tetragonal structure. Crystallite size was newlinecalculated by using Debye-Sherrer s and Williamson-Hall equations. The average newlinecrystallite size was around 14 nm. A particle size of 28nm was obtained with particle newlinesize analyzer. The FESEM morphology studies indicate that ZnMn 2 O 4 nano particles newlinewere coagulated with some amount of porosity. The electrochemical analysis of the newlinesynthesized ZnMn 2 O 4 electrode showed specific capacity upto 603 mAh/g at 5 mV/s. newlineNanocomposites of ZnCo 2 O 4 were successfully synthesized by using sol-gel method. newline
