Abstract: Job Satisfaction has been defined in several ways but the essential meanIng conveyed by all the definitions is that it is an attitude based on an affective feeling level evaluative response to a job situation Systematic investigations of job satisfaction usually enquire into how job satisfaction is generated who is relatively more satisfied and now this affects an individual s work behaviour and attitudes An attitude is the tendency of a person to evaluate some symbol person place or thing in a favourable or unfavourable manner The person sopi nion is said to constitute the verbal expression of an attitude
