Abstract: newline Statistical tools can be applied on a data set to draw the inferences in a scientific manner. These statistical inferences are frequently used for various purposes. For example, government uses such data for policy formulation for the welfare of the people, marketing companies use the data from consumer surveys to improve the company and to provide better services to the customer, etc. In modern society, there is a need for various types of statistical information to be gathered and investigated in an objective manner and presented suitably so as to serve as a resonance basis for taking policy decisions in different fields of human activity. The collection of necessary statistical information in all kinds of investigations in everyday life is the first and foremost thing which becomes absolutely necessary to seek answers that come up about specified set of elements, called finite population . For the purpose of gathering information about a finite population, generally a sample of pre-determined size is taken from the population with any of the existing sampling techniques as per the need of the survey.
