Abstract: Nowadays people are very much interested in the concepts of newlinedigitized world They would like to keep their data in such format Generally newlinethe word image plays a major role in all aspects Every day huge numbers newlineof images are being created in all fields like Engineering Medical Business newlineResearch development and Arts Unfortunately there are certain newlinedifficulties to process those data in a correct way If users are able to process newlinein a right way they can give useful information to the departments concerned newlineParticularly the medical field can be benefitted a lot The medical field is the newlineone which plays a vital role in protecting the lives of human beings newlineSeveral kinds of images are being generated at regular intervals in newlinethe field of medicine in order to diagnose human diseases Especially newlineMagnetic Resonance Images MRIs are used very effectively This MRI newlineplays a dominant role to diagnose tumor conditions in human brain In newlinegeneral the tumor stages are Normal Benign and Malignant newlinePhysicians find it very difficult to identify the formation of tumor conditions newlineand they try to consult the experts and specialists in the field to take necessary newlineremedial actions They are completely dependent on other experts They cant newlineact independently without the consultant opinion of third party Hence there newlineis a need to develop a computerized system which can automatically analyze newlinethe stages of tumor conditions and can assist the physicians to take necessary newlineremedial actions without delay newlineIn this research work the concepts of Image Mining and Content Based newlineImage Retrieval CBIR have been merged to support and assist the medical newlinefield Both of these two concepts are distinct in general Image mining deals newlinewith the extraction of potential hidden information from large collection of newlinegeneral digital images The CBIR is used to retrieve the desired image from newlinethe image database based on the selected contents of given query image newline
