Abstract

Irrespective of domain, the efficiency and effectiveness of data mining to extract, store, transform, process, analyze and interpret the data in different ways has provided solutions in various walks of life. One such domain is medical field. In medical field a rigorous research is carried out to provide solutions to various health related problems and issues. The key to solve a problem lies in its understanding and medical data mining is the best way to get the insight. A huge amount of medical data is digitally available. Digital data when mined uncovers meaningful patterns that can provide a better insight to solve a problem and to build a support system. This ensures a right decision is taken to provide a proper care, at the right time to the right patient.
